The Special Prize enables winners to develop their brand, both creatively and strategically, and increase their presence internationally. Due to the 'exceptionally high level' of its 34th edition, this year’s jury decided to award a total of 3 designers with the Special Prize. In addition to Lantink, Ester Manas and Avellano received the award.

Founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour, with the French Ministry of Culture and the DEFI as historical institutional sponsors, ANDAM - National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts - was conceived as a structure for recognising and assisting young designers on the French and international fashion scene.

Previous winners include industry icons such as Maison Martin Margiela, Iris van Herpen, Viktor & Rolf, Gareth Pugh, Bernard Willhelm and more.
