NOoF LAB is a safe space for exploration, creation and collaboration in Strijp-S, Eindhoven.

Rooted in our sustainable ambitions, the LAB provides the tools, space, materials and advice (and cheering!) to change the fashion paradigm.
From a fashion and textile reference library, to tactile samples. From exemplary garments to immersive exhibitions, the LAB is a nurturing haven where inspiration thrives and change takes shape.
The LAB consists of four main spaces:
1. Atelier
A space for drawing, pattern and fabric cutting, sewing and embroidery. The atelier features both domestic and industrial sewing machines, overlockers, steam iron, 6-colour digital embroidery machine, plotter and heat press. We have various hand tools, fabrics and yarns from deadstock and post consumer origin for use for a small fee.

2. Studio
A space for diving deeper into sustainable textile-for-fashion making processes with advanced machines and tools. The Studio features domestic knitting machines, a 24 shaft semi-computerised dobby loom, a textile shredder, a cut & loop pile tufting guns, an electric drum carder, the open-source HILO digital spinning machine, small screen printing tools, and tools for dyeing.

3. Meeting
A dedicated area designed to facilitate discussions, education and collaboration within the context of fashion design and creation. This versatile space serves as a hub where various activities can take place.
The LAB’s meeting space consists of large tables for meeting, discussions, independent (clean) design work and classroom-style teaching.

4. Exhibition
The LAB’s exhibition area is where we share and exhibit the creative output of our talents and results of individual artistic research residencies in the LAB. It provides a visual and interactive experience for visitors, allowing them to engage with the artistic and design-driven elements of New Order of Fashion.

How we work
We strongly encourage you to work sustainably at NOoF LAB. Before you come to explore and create at the LAB, ask yourself if the material you are using is fit for purpose. Have you thought about its end of life? Can you repurpose something instead of buying new fabrics, materials and notions? Can you use a natural material instead of a plastic-based material?
